Services · Getting your deposit back
You moved out months ago and the money is still not back. That is more common than it should be, and it is usually recoverable.
The deposit sits in a blocked account in your name. A landlord cannot take it — they need your signature or a court decision, and after one year without a claim the bank can release it to you.
Most cases are not disputes at all. The landlord simply never signed the release, and nobody chased it once the student left the country.
We look at what actually happened, tell you whether you have a case, and only then quote. If we think you will not get it back, we say so and charge nothing.
